Serialized Items Topic

An identified instance of a physical item is represented by the serialized item object.

Certain objects can be associated to one or more serialized item objects to provide a reference and context for the object.

Note: To define or remove object relationships, you must have the appropriate permissions in the Link Independent Objects permission folder. In this case, Link Independent Objects > <Object> - Serialized Item to create a link and Link Independent Objects > Break Relationship to break any link.
